These terms apply when you use Serva. Serva is a product of WebBliss Technology Solutions and Consulting Limited ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying a ticket, you agree to them.
1. Who can use Serva
- You must be at least 18, or use Serva with a parent or guardian's permission.
- Give true details when you sign up and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person or business per account. We may ask hosts and vendors to verify their identity (KYC) before they get paid.
2. What Serva does
Serva lets hosts create events, sell tickets, run guest lists and check people in. Vendors list services and get booked. Sponsors support events. Guests buy tickets, RSVP and share memories.
We provide the platform. The host runs the event. The host is responsible for the event happening as described, the venue, safety, and keeping to the law.
3. Tickets and payments
- Prices are set by the host and shown before you pay.
- Payments are processed by our payment partner (such as Paystack). We do not store your full card details.
- A ticket is a licence to attend that event. The host may refuse entry for a fake, copied or already-scanned ticket, or if you break the venue or event rules.
- Reselling tickets above face value without the host's permission is not allowed.
4. Fees
- Creating an account and free events cost nothing.
- On paid tickets, a service fee is taken from the ticket price before the host is paid. Current fees are on our Pricing page.
- Message credits (WhatsApp and email to guests) and event-day staff packages are paid for in advance at the prices shown.
5. Payouts to hosts and vendors
- Money from sales goes to your Serva wallet. You can withdraw it to a verified bank account.
- We may hold a payout while we check a refund request, a chargeback, or suspected fraud.
- You are responsible for any tax on your income.
6. Refunds
Refunds follow our Refund policy. If an event is cancelled, ticket buyers get their money back.
7. Content you post
- You keep ownership of what you upload (event details, photos, videos, music, voice notes, messages).
- You give us permission to show it on Serva and to use event pages to promote the event.
- Only post content you have the right to use. Do not post anything illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or misleading. See our Rules.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.
8. Things you must not do
- Use Serva for fraud, scams, money laundering or fake events.
- Copy, scrape or attack the platform, or try to get into other people's accounts.
- Use guest contact details for anything other than that event.
9. Our responsibility
- We work hard to keep Serva running, but we cannot promise it will never be down or have errors.
- We are not responsible for what happens at an event, or for a host's or vendor's actions.
- As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the last 6 months.
10. Closing your account
You can stop using Serva at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Money owed to you will still be paid, minus any refunds or chargebacks.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If the change is important we will tell you by email or on the site. Using Serva after a change means you accept it.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
